Leading housebuilder David Wilson Homes North West is celebrating after enjoying remarkable sales success over the last six months, showing that demand for new homes in the area remains strong, despite the mixed national picture.
The Cheshire-based housebuilder, saw completion during January to June 2012 increase by 14% compared to the same period last year.
David Wilson Homes North West legally completed 274 homes worth £47 million.
This outcome provides solid evidence that demand in the local housing market is increasing.
Steve Jackson, sales director at David Wilson Homes North West, explains: “We have a strong reputation for building high quality homes in appealing locations throughout the North West region which has enabled us to perform strongly despite the uncertainty about the wider economy at the moment.
“One of the key issues for anyone buying a home is getting the right mortgage.
“What gives us the edge over other companies selling homes is that we can provide customers with various, innovative financial incentives. One of these schemes is NewBuy, the 95 per cent mortgage backed by government, which means customers, both first time buyers and home movers, only need a five per cent deposit.
“We would urge house buyers to get in touch with us as soon as possible to discuss what will be available in the local area and how we can help.”
David Wilson Homes currently operates across 19 sites across the North West including five developments at the stunning flagship Chapelford Village in Warrington and the Hawley Gardens development in Thornton Cleveleys, which has recently been Highly Commended by Wyre Council in its Building Excellence Awards 2012.
It has also recently commenced work on a new development of 34 units in Higher Kinnerton, Flintshire and will shortly be opening a number of new developments across the region, including sites in Pemberton, Sandbach, Blackburn, Warrington and Liverpool.
