Get ready to dance in the aisles as Suzanne Shaw and friends lead you back to the swinging sixties.
The former HearSay singer is joined by former X-Factor finalists Amelia Lily and Niki Evans for Shout! - a jukebox musical packed with classic hits.
For Suzanne it’s a return to the Blackpool stage she last visited in Summer Holiday in 1998.
“It’s great to be coming back to stage and to the North West,” said the Bury-born star, who has been away from the limelight for a year, enjoying maternity leave.
“This is where I used to come for holidays for days out.
“It’s a big theatre, it’s a fantastic place to perform, even if there are a lot of steps to the dressing rooms!”
For Suzanne, the show is as big an attraction as the venue, a chance to perform with an all female lead cast.
“It’s the story of five young women trying to find themselves and what the about through an agony aunt.
“It’s a really great story and people are just going to find themselves singing along.”
“They’ll be dancing in the aisles,” added Niki.
“There’s so many great songs.
“I was surprised how many I knew when we looked down the list and heard them.
“And the cast is fantastic.
“We’ve only met this week and already we’ve just clicked.
“It’s going to be fantastic - really one for the girls - to celebrate women in the sixties.
“Sometimes it’s a gamble with a new musical but not this one, everyone knows the tunes, literally every song is a hit.”
For Amelia Lily, 21, the show is a dream come true.
“I always wanted to be in musical theatre, since I was nine.
“Being a pop star was never the dream.
“This show is fantastic, it’s packed with classic songs from the sixties.
“What’s great is that is a real girl driven show.
“I can’t wait to get going - especially in that theatre, it’s huge, it’s mental!”
Shout! includes hits from the likes of Petula Clark, Lulu and Dusty Springfield and also features former Atomic Kitten singer Liz McClarnon.
The show runs at the Opera House from October 19 to November 3.
