A former village Toyota dealership is to be turned into nine new town houses.
Chorley Council’s development control committee gave the go ahead for the layout, scale, appearance and landscaping of the proposed development, following a planning application from Warwick Construction (NW) Ltd, on Tuesday evening.
The former HW Moon dealership building - close to the junction of Park Hall Road - has now been demolished.
The new three-bedroomed homes will be built in two separate, two storey terraces of five and four properties, with access in between leading to a communal parking area with provision for 18 cars.
The committee was recommended to approve the application in an officer’s report.
