New weekly market begins under refurbished canopy
Council bosses are urging people to head to the market to sell a range of items including antiques, crafts, food, collectables and furniture, or to browse what’s on offer.
Coun Peter Rankin, leader of Preston Council, said: “The Fish Market canopy provides a great location for a Sunday Market - offering cover from the elements, ensuring people can sell their wares whatever the weather.

“The Harris Museum also launches their new opening times this weekend, which includes Sundays.
“This, coupled with the new market, will hopefully bring more life to this part of the city on Sundays.”
