Opening this year’s awards is last year’s Volunteer of the Year award winner, Joanne Duncan, founder of TAAG, a charity for teenagers with ADHD.
She said: “Winning the Volunteer of the Year award was massively appreciated by myself and the TAAG team. It was a nice surprise and it was lovely to be recognised by the community for what we do and continue to do so.”
This year’s Big Do will be held on Thursday 13th October 2016.
