One casualty was treated by ambulance personnel following a collision on the M6 this afternoon.

Two fire engines from Leyland and Chorley attended the incident involving a motorhome on the northbound carriageway between junctions 27 and 28.

Firefighters, who received the emergency call at 1.37pm, made the vehicle safe.
