Reader's letter: 'Have you ever seen an alien or UFO?'

I was totally unprepared for the reality of just how prolific activity was during the last century, much of which was unexplainable. Prior to that I would have relegated such complaints as the product of over-imagination or worse.

The evidence speaks volumes for itself.

I wonder if any readers can assist me and my colleague, Stephen Coop, a UFO researcher from the Wigan area, with any knowledge of strange happenings around the Saunders Lane area in Hutton, close to the gatehouse of the Police HQ, after we were contacted by Suzanne, a retired police officer from Hutton.

She witnessed a terrifying encounter with what looked more like a creature than anything human, one evening during September 2010.

If she was the only one then life would be simple.

Suzanne says: “I was a police officer, standing right outside the gatehouse entrance to Lancashire Constabulary, and unable to deal with or even comprehend the nature of what was happening in front of my eyes as I never thought such things existed.

“Yet I was looking at it and, although deeply affected, managed to drive away. It was the strangest thing that had ever happened to me.

“I still remember it clearly to this present day.”
