Jen said: “I’m thrilled and amazed to received this award! Dancing is my life and my passion and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to follow my dreams with DanceSyndrome and inspire others to do the same.”

The charity’s dancers also perform live at events across the UK with the aim of inspiring people and demonstrating that people with disabilities can live a life of their choosing and demonstrate that their abilities are more important than their disabilities.

Speaking on behalf of the DanceSyndrome, Managing Director Dawn Vickers said: “We hope that this award will introduce us to even more people who believe that inclusion is a fundamental human right for everyone and want to support our ground-breaking work to enable more learning-disabled adults to realise their dreams and ambitions.”
