Vehicle owners are being warned by police after a number of break-ins, thefts and a fire in the Chorley area this week.
Chorley Police wrote on their Facebook page to say vehicles have been broken into on the Duxbury Manor Way and Shireburne Drive area overnight between the June 26-27.
This follows a series of break-ins in other areas of the town earlier in the week, in which two vehicles had items stolen from them after they had been unlocked.
Another vehicle which was also left unlocked and insecure and with the keys in the ignition was stolen and later found burnt out.
The post said: “Please can I remind you how important it is to check that you have locked your vehicle and leave no valuables on show.”
Three vehicles were also damaged in the Pilling Lane area overnight between June 25-26.
