Pupils give time at football club for Heartbeat
Madyson Kehoe and Katie Crossley, from Lostock Hall Academy, and Morgan Brown from Balshaw’s CE High School, in Leyland, collected £150 for the Heartbeat charity.
John Gibson, volunteer sports events fund-raiser for the charity, who is also a member of the football club committee, said: “As somebody who served in the forces for over 30 years, I believe it’s important that children gain experience as volunteers.
