Plans are in place for the second Rainbow House Workout-athon full of fun and energetic workouts including Insanity, Zumba, PiYo, Les Mills Body Combat, Clubbercise and a taster of Bounce Dance Fit.

The fitness challenge, aimed at helping people keep fit while raising funds for children, young adults and adults with disabilities, will take place on February 21 from 10am to 1pm at the Park Hall Plaza, Charnock Richard.

Carole Cochrane, chief executive of the Rainbow House, based in Mawdesley, said: “The event was a great success last year and we expect an even bigger turnout in February.

“We are so grateful to everyone who is supporting us, and especially to Ben Rose Estate Agents which is backing the event, and Park Hall.”

Everyone is welcome to join in and can do as much or as little as they wish.

Entry is £5 in advance or £7 on the day and entry forms are available by emailing fund-raising@thelegacy-rainbowhouse.com or calling 01704 823276.

Sponsorship is not compulsory but encouraged, and the person who raises the most will receive a prize from Sybaris Beauty Salon.
