The popular Chorley Cake Street Fair returns to the town on Thursday (Oct 11).
Since its launch in 1995 the popular event, which is organised by Chorley Borough Council, has attracted thousands of people each year seeking fun and thrills on its many rides and attractions.
The fair takes place between Thursday, October 11 and Sunday, October 14, and has rides to suit all ages.
Attractions for families and younger children will be situated on Market Street and Fazakerley Street and larger rides for older children and adults will be located on the Portland Street car park.
Mayor of Chorley Coun Adrian Lowe will officially open the fair on Thursday, October 11, on Market Street at 6pm.
The highlight of the event promises to be the annual firework display that takes place in Astley Park on Friday, October 12, at 7.30pm.
Admission is free.
