Ribby Hall fire sees emergency crews tackle blaze in outbuilding

Firefighters tackled a huge fire at Ribby Hall this evening (July 27), as smoke could be seen by residents in the Wesham village area.

Four fire engines attended the blaze, which started in an outbuilding at the holiday site.

They were called out at 17:57, after large plumes of smoke were seen billowing in the air.

Emergency crews from Blackpool, South Shore and St Annes wore breathing apparatus, and used two hose reels and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
