Security guard allegedly assaulted by man at superstore
Police arrested a man after a security guard was allegedly assaulted at a Morrisons store.
The alleged attack happened at the superstore in Brooke Street, Chorley at 5.30pm yesterday.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 5.30pm to reports that a man was in possession of a knife outside Morrisons on Brooke Street, Chorley.

Hide Ad“A 39-year-old man from Chorley was arrested on suspicion of theft, possession of a knife and battery.
“It looks as though he has assaulted a member of the Morrisons security staff. He is still in custody.”
