Staff get creative for charity
The creative team at the Club Street site designed and crafted an array of festive ornaments within the metal factory, which staff members were then encouraged to decorate in memory of loved ones.
Hannah Heaton, business analysist at Baxi who helped organise the initiative, said: “Instead of Christmas cards, we thought it would be nice to do something a bit more personal among our staff, and to back a local cause too.

“St Catherine’s is close to a lot of people’s hearts, so I think they felt really motivated to get involved and show their support for the charity.
“We saw lots of different styles; we had a really positive response and it’s something we hope to do again next year.”
St Catherine’s fundraiser, Emma Jacovelli, visited the offices to meet with staff and tour the onsite museum chronicling 150 years of Baxi.

“The care offered by St Catherine’s goes much further than treating the physical symptoms of a life-shortening illness; it’s also about providing emotional support to patients and loved ones, from diagnosis through to remembrance, and enabling people to maintain their individuality and experience the best possible quality of life.
“Baxi’s support helping to raise awareness and funds for our charity is so greatly appreciated, and will help us continue providing our specialist palliative and end-of-life care to local people when it matters most.”
