Staff and volunteers at Duxbury Park have spruced up the untamed walled garden and pathways and have planted new shrubbery.
Alice Harfield, events manager at Duxbury Park, said: “We want the community to feel like they can utilise the space as their own, the stunning surroundings, now they have been maintained, really are extremely beautiful.
“We have also had a makeover in Nineteen, with new menus and also a dedicated gin menu, which is often used when we have families down to play on the family park, or in our giant sandpit, or other garden games we have.
“We are also holding the World Cup final at Duxbury Park on Sunday July 15, free of charge, on a massive big screen, which again is just a community event to bring people down to the area to see what amazing regeneration the land has undergone.”
