The perfect twinning for a couple who met at school
The couple, who now live in Chorley, met at school in 2004 when Hayley, from Haydock, was 15 and Daniel, originally from Ashton-in-Makerfield, near Wigan, was 16.
Hayley says: “It was only a couple of months later that our parents met.

A few months later Hayley’s parents bought a hotel in Windermere and Hayley, along with her twin sister, Carley, moved with them.
“Everyone thought we wouldn’t last, that we were too young and couldn’t make a long distance relationship work.”
But the pair spent the next two years catching trains and buses every weekend just to see each other and when Hayley’s family sold the hotel and moved to Southport, they continued to see each other as ofter as they could.

“We bought our first home together in Chorley last November and it was then we decided that the perfect place for us to get married would be the Lake District,” adds Hayley.
Following the small ceremony in front of just 23 guests at The Old England Hotel in Bowness-on-Windermere, Mr and Mrs Carson cruised around Windermere before sitting down for their wedding breakfast.
“It was the most perfect day,” says Hayley.
“We have had some difficult times over the past few years and Daniel has stuck by me and been my rock.
“I’m so lucky to have found him.”
