All set for Chorley Council first ever flower show. Cllr.Alistair Bradley council leader Michelle Scott of Botany Bay, and David Broan of Chorley and District Gardening Society.

Botany Bay, home to five floors of shopping, will provide a free park-and-ride to the show and their garden centre will trade at the event, at Astley Park, on July 30-31.

Councillor Alistair Bradley, leader of Chorley Council, which runs the event, said support from Botany Bay means the flower show can put on ‘even more fantastic displays and attractions’.

He said: “The show will be bigger and better this year with word spreading among the horticultural world about our success and the fact we attracted thousands of visitors who were pleasantly surprised at the top quality exhibitors and traders we brought to Chorley.

The show will include exhibitors, gardening products, amateur exhibitors, show gardens, floral art and children’s activities.
