Haslingden ranks as cheapest for fuel prices as list of Lancashire areas is revealed

A new report ranks areas in Lancashire based on their average price of unleaded petrol.

Motorists have been in a constant battle with fuel prices over the last couple of years, seeing them reach unprecedented heights that they just can’t afford.

As these price fluctuations impact not only household budgets but also burden businesses with soaring expenses, finding the best deals at the pump has become a top priority for drivers. 

The Fuel Price Report by Cromwell Trucks and Online Marketing Surgery helped rank areas in Lancashire that have the highest and lowest petrol prices per litre, revealing the most expensive and cheapest areas to get fuel.

Haslingden was ranked as the cheapest Lancashire area with an average petrol price of 137.9p per litre.

At the other end of the table, Lancaster ranked as the most expensive area with an average petrol price of 153.0p per litre.

To find the petrol prices in Lancashire, Online Marketing Surgery researched Petrol Map’s directory and discovered data for all the county’s locations.

An average price was then worked out of all the petrol stations in that area.
