Chorley singing star Kevin Simm has been voted through to the final of singing contest The Voice.
The former Liberty X singer was the first of four finalists announced on tonight’s live show, following a public vote.
He told presenter Emma Willis: “I can’t believe it, I didn’t think it was going to happen.”
Kevin, 35, who is on Ricky Wilson’s team, sang first in the live show, performing his version of Adele’s Rolling In The Deep.
Judge Ricky said: “It’s a good start. So good you made it impossible for everybody else.”
Will.i.am said: “I’m really confused on why you don’t have a career and why you’re a contestant. You have this voice that can move matter.”
Palmoma Faith said: “He’s exceptional.”
Boy George said: “You’re amazing Kevin.”
He then joined Ricky and fellow contestant Jolan to sing Power of Love.
Four finalists will battle it out in a live sing-off next week for a chance to release their own winner’s single.
