Zebra Technologies, in Pittman Way, Fulwood, in Preston, which manufactures barcode print supplies, ran an appeal asking colleagues to bring in their unwanted presents to support Barnardo’s.The team donated more than 50 new gifts to the store, in Chorley.Jessica Greenwood, supplies product manager at Zebra Technologies, said: “We believe in giving back to the areas where our employees work and live. With Barnardo’s fitting under our community relations pillar of health and human services we believed donating unwanted Christmas gifts was a great way to ensure these gifts are re-used and go to good new homes.Emma Lewis, store associate at Barnardo’s, said: “We would like to thank Zebra for its kind donations which will help raise money to support the UK’s most vulnerable children, young people and their families. “We would also like to say a big thank you to our customers for their support over the past two years. We have new stock out in our store everyday so please come down and say hello.”
