Darts aces Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld head for Preston Guild Hall
Sixteen-time World Darts champion Phil Taylor is set to clash with his old rival Raymond Van Barneveld.
Barney and ‘The Power’ will return for the second Preston Guild Hall Classic – following the popularity of last year’s event – on Thursday, November 8.

Hide AdTaylor, who is the most successful darts player of all time, brought down the curtain on his phenomenal career when he retired following January’s world championship final.
That make this one of the last opportunities for fans to see a true national sporting icon in action.
Van Barneveld is a great in his own right, having won five world championship titles – including the 2007 tournament, when his classic final defeat of Taylor instantly became one of the sport’s most memorable matches.
“It will be really great to play Phil again and reignite this respectful rivalry,” said Dutchman Van Barneveld.

“I’m sure we will give the fans a night to remember.”
Also on show will be Welsh duo Mark Webster and Gerwyn Price, who reached the World Cup final together in 2017.
Webster is a former world champion, while Price has reached two major finals and is competing in the 2018 Premier League alongside ‘Barney’ and another eight of the sport’s elite players.
Bobby George will also be appearing, bringing his usual showmanship to proceedings.
Tickets can be bought through the Preston Guild Hall website or by ringing the Box Office on 01772 804444.
