Baroldswick batted first and made 157-9.

Euxton’s Francois Haasbroek was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up five wickets for 57 runs.

Euxton’s reply started badly as opener Sam Tolley was out for a duck and No.3 Mark Winrow also fell for nought.

Number nine Louis Sweeney top scored and hit an unbeaten 29 as Euxton were skittled for 125.

Brinscall were beaten by 30 runs at Great Harwood.

The hosts batted first, with Hamim Miah (27), Ashen Silva (75) and Patrick Swanney (58) powering them to 225-7.

Lehann Jansen Van Rensburg was the pick of Brinscall’s bowling attack as he took three wickets for 85 runs.

Brinscall’s reply had a rocky start as they lost opener David Parker for a duck.

Jansen Van Rensburg came in at No.3 to steady the ship and build a fine partnership with opener Liam Winstanley.

Winstanley made 33 before he was caught and bowled by Silva.

Jansen Van Rensburg reached his 50 but fell soon after on 55.

Stuart Parker (20) and Steven Hawke continued the chase and captain Sam MacLachlan hit a quick fire 37 as the tail tumbled around him.

The captain was left unbeaten at the crease with No.11 Phil Lowe as they managed to bat out their 45 overs but were 30 runs shy of Great Harwood’s
total as they finished the innings with a total
of 195-9.
