Chorley will start the new 2018/19 National League North season with a home clash against York City.

The Magpies lost in the play-off semi-finals to Harrogate Town last term and now Jamie Vermiglio's first game in charge will be at Victory Parkon Saturday August 4.

Vermiglio took over from Matt Jansen after his resignation last month and now the Magpies are looking to build on back-to-back play-off defeats by clinching promotion to the National League.

The festive schedule sees the Magpies head to FC United of Manchester on Boxing Day and then host the same side on New Year's Day with an away clash at Curzon Ashton sandwiched in-between.

Chorley will end the season at Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday April 27.
