Alan House who currently lives in Penwortham expressed his delight after his name was pulled out a hat by manager Matt Jansen.

House said: “I was totally bowled over. I just thought I’d enter after seeing it in the paper, although I’ve never really won anything before. When I was told couldn’t actually believe it. I’ve been watching the club a long time and this has been such a wonderful surprise.”

The tickets were presented by goalkeeper Sam Ashton - his favourite player. Alan went on to explain: “I’ve been a big fan of Sam’s for a long time. Over the years I’ve seen some great goalkeepers; Peter Vipham, Jack Richardson, Trevor Holmes and now Sam. He has blown me away since joining, always confident and commanding in the box. It’s been great to watch him and he’s now my number one. I’m now looking forward to the 2016-17 campaign. Although it’s going to be tough, that’s for sure. Although I can’t wait to give my friend David Pickup the other season ticket.”

Season tickets are still on sale, costing adults £190.00, concessions £125.00, under-16s £65.00 and under-12s free.
