Chorley captain Andy Teague is set to return for tomorrow’s clash at Guiseley.
The central defender and Paul Jarvis missed last Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Gloucester City due to a sickness bug.
But the duo are set to return tomorrow and Chorley boss Garry Flitcroft called on his men to give their all in the final two Conference North league games after a ‘lethargic’ performance and a last minute goal cost them against the Tigers.
Flitcroft said: “We were gutted. I was just disappointed the way we let them back into the game.
“Some of the lads looked a little bit leggy, especially up top. We just need to make sure they are ready for tomorrow.
“The performance of five or six of them especially in the second half just seemed a bit lethargic.
“I don’t know whether the games have taken their toll over the last couple of weeks.
“But we got back to training on Tuesday and we had a light session yesterday in preparation for Saturday.
“These lads have done brilliantly for me and we have just got to keep going now until the end of the season.”
Chorley are third in the table and could seal a spot in the play-offs if they beat fifth-placed Guiseley tomorrow.
And Flitcroft is confident his men can bounce back.
He said: “We have got a good record against the teams at the top and that is why we are up there because we keep beating the teams at the top.”
