Chorley FC manager Garry Flitcroft was left frustrated after his side threw away a one goal lead against a Blackburn Rovers XI.
The Magpies were leading for the majority of the game after taking the lead through a Hugo Fernandez own goal.
But late strikes from Patrick Antelmi and then Fernandez robbed Chorley of a deserved victory.
Flitcroft was left frustrated in the way the first goal was conceded and he thought it was an avoidable error.
He said: “Mark Ross was at fault for our first goal and I really wasn’t happy with his positioning.”
But as Flitcroft has said throughout the pre-season campaign he insists the
games are all about fitness.
He added: “The result doesn’t mean much. I’m happy with the way we played and our subs changed the flow of the game.
“We are ready for the first game of the season away at Barwell and looking forward to it.”
Flitcroft’s boys travel to Salford tonight in their penultimate pre-season friendly before making the trip to Mossley on Saturday.
