David Prutton reveals score prediction for Preston North End's trip to face Stoke City

Potters boss Michael O'Neill has transformed the side, who have claimed a number of eye-catching results, including a 1-0 victory over league leaders West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.

Preston North End will arrive at the Bet365 Stadium in good spirits too, having dispatched local rivals Wigan Athletic at the weekend to continue their play-off push.

The Lilywhites will have to play very well to claim all three points in Stoke, in what is sure to be a difficult game.

David Prutton agrees that Preston will be up against it, but is backing Alex Neil's side to take all three points back to Lancashire.

Speaking in his weekly predictions column, he is predicting a tight 2-1 victory for the away side.

He is also predicting a 2-1 win for West Bromwich Albion at Reading, and a 1-0 win for Sheffield Wednesday away at struggling Luton Town.
