The 25-year-old is still trying to find some permanent residence whilst currently living in a hotel in the area after signing for the Lilywhites last week, Woodman signed a three-year-deal after making the move from Newcastle United for an undisclosed fee.
It brings to an end a run of loans for the stopper, who had seven different loan moves in his time at St James’ Park.

Hide AdSpeaking to the Lancashire Post, he said: “It's not quite a home yet, I'm in a hotel at the minute and I'm finding it difficult to find a home here, but I think once I get that sorted it'll be nice to settle here.
"That's something that the club have done very well, they've been very welcoming and helped me settle very quickly. That's a credit to the staff and the players.
"It can be hard going on loan but when you're a young player you don't care about anything, you just go and play your football.
"I remember my first loan to Crawley Town I lived at my nan's house for a few months because all I was doing was playing football, that's all I wanted to do.

North End will undoubtedly be building for a chance at promotion to the Premier League. Woodman was within 90 minutes of winning the Championship play-offs with Swansea City and feels he can offer that sort of experience to the group.
He said: “I want to come here and give the fans something to shout about. Whenever I've played at Deepdale it has been a hostile atmosphere so if we can give the fans something to shout about, it gives us a chance.
"When you're in the Championship the goal is always to make the play-offs, I was lucky enough to do it twice with Swansea and then to win automatic promotion with Bournemouth as well.
"I feel like I bring a bit of experience to the group - that already has so much experience in it – and hopefully we can come together and build something special.”
