Preston North End have made six changes for their pre-season fixture at Deepdale against Hearts.

Their back three is once again switched around, as it was for the trip to Accrington Stanley, with the midfield also being changed.

Jordan Storey, Liam Lindsay and Andrew Hughes come in to form the back three with Ben Whiteman, Ben Woodburn and Ali McCann in the midfield.

It is the first start of the summer for McCann, who has been made to make do with substitute appearances so far after arriving back late following international duty.

Riis and Evans are once again partnered up front, with the latter getting his second start of the summer.

Whiteman captains the side, with skipper Alan Browne back on the bench having, like McCann, joined up with the squad late.
