CHORLEY FC officials are urging fans to get their tickets early for next week’s eagerly-anticipated promotion clash with Chester FC.
This Saturday’s home match with Stafford Rangers at The Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium is the final opportunity for home supporters to collect vouchers, which will then allow them to buy tickets for the Chester game.
However, with another bumper crowd expected this weekend, Magpies officials are urging fans who already have vouchers to avoid the queues by buying their tickets in advance of Saturday’s game.
A club spokesman said: “We have extended the opening hours of the club office to give fans every opportunity to get their tickets early.
“We expect there to be a big demand for tickets this weekend so if you want to avoid the queues then our advice is to come down early on Saturday, or better still purchase your tickets beforehand if possible.”
The club office will be open between 10am and 3pm, and 6pm and 8pm on weekdays.
Tickets will also be available before and after Saturday’s game.
The office will be open again next week, but fans are reminded that tickets will NOT be on sale on the day of the game, which kicks-off at the earlier time of 1pm.
A club spokesman added: “We’ve been working hard on the arrangements for this game with officials from Chester FC and Lancashire police and we’d like to thank the fans for their co-operation.
“Unfortunately we cannot offer concessions for this game because we are likely to incur additional costs for policing and stewarding the match. This decision was made in conjunction with Chester FC.”
