Hot prospect Jack Catterall is eagerly anticipating his debut fight under the Queensberry Promotions label.

Catterall signed a two-year contract with Frank Warren’s Queesberry last month.

The young light-welterweight currently boasts a perfect record with seven wins from seven fights, including four knockouts.

Catterall is on the under card of the Derry Mathews vs. Martin Gethin bout at the

Olympia Arena in Liverpool.

The 19-year-old is taking on Polish-born Krzysztof

Szot, who has a record 18 wins from 31 fights with 12 losses and one draw.

The fight will be Catterall’s first eight rounder and he cannot wait to get in the ring.

He said: “Preparation has gone very well, the last fight was in March and I was straight back in the gym after it.

“I’ve sparred with Amir Khan as he is taking on Luis Collazo, you couldn’t ask for better preparation and it’s give me loads of confidence.

Catterall is targeting a potential title fight in the coming months.

He added: “A couple more fights and then my trainer Lee and the promoters will hopefully look at a title fight for me.”
