Brinscall started life in the Ribblesdale League in fine style by thrashing Brooksbottom by eight wickets.

Brinscall chased down the target with ease to seal an opening day 12 points.
Brinscall second team were also celebarting after grabbing an opening-day win.
They defeated Great Harwood by 38 runs.

The Euxton reply never really got going with the home side losing wickets at regular times.

The second team did claim an opening-day victory by defeating Stacksteads by two wickets.
Tom Farmer grabbed 5-47 as Stacksteads were bowled out for 156.
In reply, Richard Houghton scored 77 and Willie Woodall chipped in with 28 to seal the success for Euxton.
