Chorley Panthers Under-10 side defeated Woolston 36-22.

Joe Hackett was a hat-trick hero, while Liam Turner, Thomas Greenhalgh (two) and Tom Williams all crossed the line for the Panthers.

The Under-8 side also enjoyed a victory against Woolston by a 24-8 scoreline.

Oakley Moss (two) along with Izzy Thompson, Ethan Fitzgerald, Will Marshman and Ben Seward were all try-scorers for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, the Under-11 team overcame St Cuthberts 38-8.

Jack Cunliffe opened the score with a good dummy to slide in over the line.

Another three tries each from Natty Groom, Nathan Leonard and Joe Leather saw the half-time whistle blow with Panthers enjoying a commanding lead.

The second half started with two more tries, one each from Declan Jones and Joe Leather, with a win firmly in sight.

The Panthers then went to sleep, and mistakes crept in.

However, this team is made of sterner stuff, and with the ball travelling from end-to-end, Jake Havard was put clear to score in the corner.

It was quickly followed another score, as Man of the Match Jimmy picked up the ball up from dummy half and dived over to give Panthers the win.

Top tackler went to Lewis Hartley and best effort was to be taken by Jake Havard.

Meanwhile, the Under-7 side lost 24-6 to Rylands, with Jack Fairclough the main scorer.
