Although only eight drivers from Saint Michaels Kart club attended the race meeting at Clay Pigeon in Dorset, they returned home with a total of four trophies.

The highlight of the meeting for the club was seeing Sarah Howard produce some excellent driving in her four heats to win class 7 overall after coming close on many occasions.

They also won a second trophy in this class with Matthew Boyle coming home in 3rd place.

Also competing in this class was Kirsten Dodd with a very well deserved 8th place and Oliver Livesey in 13th place from the grid of 23 karts.

Class 14 saw Charlie Palmer coming in 2nd place after narrowly missing out on first place due to a broken bumper, our other driver Cameron Livesey came in 6th place.

Sam Palmer was competing in class 12 for the first time but he brought home our last trophy of the day for the club by winning the class. James Harbot competed in novice class.

The next meeting takes place at Beccles in Suffolk on May 6.
