PCW SpringSlam SuperShow Weekender Preview

The stars of Preston City Wrestling descend on Evoque Nightclub in Preston on April 22nd and 23rd for PCW's annual SpringSlam Supershow Weekender.

Three top class professional wrestling shows will take place over the course of the weekend which will include appearances from some legendary international names and WWE Hall of Fame Legends Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat, Honky Tonk Man and Booker T! In addition to those former WWE star Evan Bourne, ROH Tag Champions War Machine and Dalton Castle will be in action.

The very best wrestlers in the UK will butt heads as the main event of the weekend will see PCW Heavyweight Champion, Sha Samuels collide with the number one contender T-Bone on April 23 in a clash that has physicality written all over it.

Elsewhere on the weekend’s bill, Show 1 will see T-Bone and Sha Samuels dish out a little preview, as Samuels teams with one of the members of ‘The Firm’ whilst T-Bone teams with his Team Single partner, Rampage Brown – The PCW Tag Team Champions.

Fight Club will take on behemoths and Ring of Honor stars War Machine, the UK Hooligans and the London Riots as a tournament to crown number one contenders begins and concludes over the weekend.

Former PCW Heavyweight Champion, Dave Mastiff goes toe-to-toe with PCW newcomer Wolfgang. The indestructible Lionheart faces singles debut talent Sammy Smooth, who will be looking to make a name for himself at the big weekend.

Noam Dar, a contender in WWE’s upcoming World Cruiserweight Series will face former WWE superstar Matt Sydal aka Evan Bourne.

ROH star and PCW favourite Dalton Castle will team with WWE legend The Honky Tonk Man to face the breathtaking team of Charlie Garrett and Ashton Smith.

El Ligero, Martin Kirby, Bubblegum and Liam Lazarus will battle in four-way action which has excitement written all over it, and rounding off the first night will see the chiselled Welshman Iestyn Rees issue an Alpha Lock Challenge.

Show 2 will see the semi-finals of the Tag Team tournament, Sha Samuels vs. Noam Dar in non-title action, Iestyn Rees vs. Dalton Castle and Dave Mastiff vs. Evan Bourne.

Show 3 concludes the weekend by crowning new number one contenders for the PCW Tag Team Championships, Rampage Brown vs. Noam Dar and Evan Bourne vs. Bubblegum in a match screams “instant classic”.

If that wasn’t enough, El Ligero will face Dalton Castle, Lionheart faces a mystery opponent and T-Bone battles Sha Samuels for the PCW Heavyweight Championship.

Doors will open at 6pm on Friday with the action getting underway at 7pm.

On Saturday, doors will open at 12pm and a special ‘Meet and Greet’ with all the stars will take place after the show at 3pm. The third show will take place at 6pm.
