Charnock Richard stay on top of the Premier Division of the West Lancashire League after an emphatic home win.
Andy Westwell’s side are now six points ahead of second-placed Eagley with one game in hand.
The hosts were 2-0 to the good in the first half after strikes by Phil Jackson on 36 minutes and then Tom Morgan on with three minutes of the half remaining.
However, Westwell’s side will be disappointed that leading scorer Carl Grimshaw failing to convert three clearcut first half opportunities.
After the interval, Charnock playied some neat football and threatening to add to their lead.
The third goal came after 54 minutes a throw near the right hand corner flag gave Dashti a chance to cross and his effort was inch perfect for Grimshaw and he had no difficulty beating the keeper with a close range header.
After the hour mark, Porter fired in a 40 yard free kick that rattled the crossbar.
At this point it then became apparent that Ex-Charnock favourite Jamie Dalton, who had run endlessly up front for the visitors, had collapsed near the centre line.
An ambulance was called and the game was suspended for 30 minutes until he was removed from the playing surface in the ambulance.
Nevertheless, another superb delivery on 75 minutes from the right by Damian Dashti set up Porter for his first goal of the season. Finally another Dashti centre saw Grimshaw diving full length but just failing to get his head on the ball.
At the other end Adam Stone was final called into serious action having to field a couple of shots.
