Tribute out to Rule the World... and Fleetwood
Take That, Fleetwood! Until the real thing play the Marine Hall here's the next best thing: leading tribute act Rule the World play the port on Friday, October 7.
In keeping with the truncated Take That (must be tough on tributes when their heroes scale down) the band perform as a three piece.
Rule the World are one of the definitive Take That tributes. They won the ultimate accolade - Gary Barlow himself tweeted the band to say he thought they were brilliant... and they wowed Jason Orange’s mum too!
They played a private party for Coldplay, have performed with the cast of Emmerdale, headlined on Royal Caribbean cruise ships, have a contract with Butlins and travel the world playing major outdoor festivals. More recently they appeared alongside the real Take That on The Graham Norton Show, lead singer Dan Maines stunning Barlow with his singalike skills. Dan promises to pack in the highlights of a concert proper and feature the biggest hits. “We are most looking forward to meeting the crowd. We’re very lucky that our audiences come wanting to have a good time. They make our job so much easier for us and we feel we owe them a good night!” Tickets £15, call 01253 887693 or visit www.marinehall.co.uk
