It’s just a jump to the left, sort of, to join a live broadcast of classic cult musical at Lancaster’s Dukes theatre.

On Thursday, The Rocky Horror Show will be broadcast from London’s West End, to celebrate the show’s 40th anniversary.

Ready to thrill cinema audiences with its frothy, fun and naughty moments, Rocky Horror Show live promises a night of frolics, bursting at the seams with timeless classics including Sweet Transvestite and Dammit Janet

And for the first time in more than 20 years, the show’s creator Richard O’Brien returns to the cast, in which he’ll be joined for this one-off performance by Stephen Fry, Mel Giedroyc and Emma Bunton.

A spokesman said: “Ready to thrill cinema audiences with its frothy, fun and naughty moments, Rocky Horror Show live promises a night of frolics, bursting at the seams with timeless classics including Sweet Transvestite and Dammit Janet.

“To join The Dukes for the largest pelvic-thrusting worldwide Time Warp ever to make Rocky history, tickets are priced £13, £12 concessions.”
