One of Britain’s best-loved comics Paddy McGuinness is on his way to Preston Guild Hall for 2015.

Tickets to see the host of popular dating game Take Me Out go on sale tomorrow at 10am.

The Lancashire-born star rose to fame after appearances on That Peter Kay Thing and, most famously, as bouncer Paddy in Phoenix Nights and the spin-off series former star of Phoenix Nights, Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere.

From September Paddy will criss-cross the country on a 50-date UK tour, which sees him make multiple visits to the North West and brings him to Preston on Saturday December 5.

The comic’s first stand-up tour since 2011, tickets will go fast, and the star is keen to get back to his showbiz roots.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to being back on tour – I’ve missed it.

“I’ve got a great new show planned–Daddy McGuinness. Among many other things, I’ll be sharing several stories about becoming a first time Dad and parenthood.
