Fourteen beautiful, interesting and very different gardens will be opened up to the public this month.

The Hurst Green Open Gardens Weekend is being staged on Saturday and Sunday, July 12 and 13, from 1-5pm.

Adults will be charged £4 for all the gardens and children are free.

Programmes will be avialable from the village memorial hall and refreshments will also be available. Dogs and children are most welcome.

Amongst the 14 super gardens, which it is hoped will prove of special interest to younger ones, is a 5* rare breed hen hotel complex, with some young chicks and hopefully some that will have just hatched. For further information cotnact Gill McDonnell on 01254 826378.
