A candle-lit evening with Mozart is a Grand night

A candle-lit evening in the company of Mozart is on the bill at Lancaster Grand Theatre on Sunday night.

From the producers of A Viennese Strauss Gala, this fully costumed show immerses audiences in the music and baroque surroundings of one of the world’s greatest romantic composers.

With suitable settings, costumes and lighting, the European Baroque Ensemble and Singers re-create a sumptuous past, performing some of the most memorable pieces of Mozart’s music.

It includes excerpts from The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi fan Tutte, Don Giovanni and many more moments from his world famous operas featuring.

Li Li, a Chinese-born soprano now based in the UK; Vasileva Diana Evgenieva, who studied classical singing at New Bulgarian University, Sofia; and Denver Martin Smith, a baritone born in Cape Town, South Africa.
