A rapidly-expanding Lancashire music festival has been given a boost after securing a major financial sponsor.
Lancashire-based chartered management accountants Danbro is a key sponsor of this year’s week-long Lytham Festival.
The event hopes to attract around 100,000 people to the area from August 2 – 9.
Lytham Proms grew into a three-day music festival from its inception in 2010 as a one night event but this year it returns rebranded as the seven-day Lytham Festival.
Based overlooking the main festival sight on Lytham Green, Danbro is an award-winning chartered management firm with accountants delivering specialist accountancy, umbrella and construction industry services to freelancers, contractors and temporary workers since 1999.
Lytham Festival is organised by Preston-based event promoters Cuffe and Taylor who this year will bring headline acts including Billy Ocean, Faithless, Marti Pellow and Elaine Page to the Proms arena.
We have made Lytham our home and want to celebrate Lytham and being there so this is the perfect partnership for us.Helen Broughton
Danbro co-founder Helen Broughton described working with the Lytham Festival as the “perfect partnership.”
She said: “We have made Lytham our home and want to celebrate Lytham and being there so this is the perfect partnership for us. Lytham Festival shows Lytham at its best. It shows that Lytham can hold its own with the best of them, not just in the county but in the country, in terms of putting on a show.”
Cuffe and Taylor director Peter Taylor said: “We are thrilled Danbro has come on-board with Lytham Festival and is showing its support.
“We have enjoyed fantastic success in the past with Lytham Proms but this year is going to be so much bigger now that we have a week-long festival.”
