Preston’s Korova Arts Cafe is to host a night of rock music from local artists in support of Oxfam.

Oxjam will be at the Charnley Street venue on Saturday October 1 from 7pm – 12am

Among the bands rocking up and rocking out in support of the charity will be Borders of Dawn, The Hairpiece Suite, The Postcard and David Shurr.

Entry to the event is by a minimum donation of £4 on the door.

All money raised will go to help fight worldwide poverty.

Oxjam is Oxfam’s month-long music festival.

Every October hundreds of events happen across the UK, all organised by volunteers.

Since 2005 Oxjam has seen 1.2 million people attend more than 4,500 events raising £2.3million for Oxfam.
