Poems, pastiches, parodies....and possibly anything, including songs both serious and silly.
Stanley Accrington’s eclectic repertoire will get an airing when he plays Longridge Folk Club at 8.30pm tomorrow night. He is the guest artist at the Legion Club when he will perform a variety of songs, often on currently relevant topics.
Some are silly, some are serious and he always keeps the audience guessing while entertaining them. Stanley has been performing on the folk music scene for more than 35 years and has played all around the UK and overseas. He was a regular performer at the Fylde Festival and has played at 33 consecutive Folk Weeks at Whitby.
The club will hold a Singers’ Night on December 15, and will then be closed until it reopens on February 2, again with a Singers Night.
