A tribute band devoted to recreating the atmosphere of a live Joy Division gig bring their show to Preston this weekend.

Transmission – The Sound Of Joy Division, takes place from 7.30pm tomorrow, Saturday, September 21.

Joy Division formed in the late 1970s and dissolved in May 1980 after the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis.

The remaining members went on to form New Order, and have achieved much critical and commercial success.

Transmission are one of the leading Joy Division tributes and seek to emulate the band’s dark cavernous sound.

Support comes from Mark Charlesworth and Roisin Fiona. Mark will be playing tracks from his new Picture Is Incomplete EP.

Tickets priced £8 plus booking fee are available at
