Rich Hall, everyone’s favourite US grouch (after Oscar, to whom he bears an uncanny resemblance) is back at the Grand Theatre in Lancaster this Sunday night (April 13) from 8pm.
Expect the Montana native to regale the audience with his typically well-crafted tirades and quick-fire wit.
Hall was born in Virginia and grew up in North Carolina and is part Cherokee.
Early in his career, he performed as a street comedian with a suitcase and stand, traveling the college circuit, and performing impromptu skits for gathering crowds.
He attended college at Western Carolina University.
Hall has become one of the best known American stand-ups of recent years, and he has appeared widelyon British TV and radio.
Notable UK appearances include stints on Stand Up For The Week, QI, Live At The Apollo, Comedy Gala Live At The O2’ and repeated slots on Have I Got News For You.
