Celebrate love of all kinds at a special cabaret hosted by The Dukes in Lancaster this month.
The Redbananallama Cabaret Club opens its doors again on May 9 from 7-9pm and, this time, love is the theme.
Redbananallama, run by and for people with disabilities, is one of the first groups at The Dukes to be part of the Make Project supported by Lancaster University.
This is the third such event organised by Redbananallama. It will feature music, dancing, poetry and karaoke with guests being encouraged to wear red – the colour of passion.
Tickets for the cabaret, which takes place in The Round and is open to everyone, cost £5 and carers go free.
Advance booking is recommended by ringing The Dukes box office on 01524 598500 or visit www.dukes-lancaster.org
Redbananallama meet weekly to organise inclusive, fun and friendly club nights.
The group also gives people an insight into how the arts work and how they can explore their own creativity.
Redbananallama is open to anyone over 21 with disabilities and meets each Thursday at The Dukes from 10am-3pm. Each session costs £10 though concessions can be considered.
