Roll up, roll up! An internationally acclaimed clown is set to appear in Lancashire next weekend.
Mexican Chico Rico, right, joins Circus Starr’s ‘Raise The Roof” at the Colne Muni next Friday evening.
A spectacular show featuring magic, illusion, juggling, spinning and balancing will be led by ringmaster Robert Price, who said: “We are thrilled to be joined by Chico Rico along with his wonderfully talented daughters ‘Las Chicas Morales’ on their giant balancing balls.
“Also back by popular demand is Peanuts the Clown who you can always depend on to get our audiences laughing”
The ringmaster continued: “We do everything in our power to accommodate our audiences’ needs by providing reserved wheelchair spaces, front row seats for the blind and visually impaired and do all we can to create a relaxed environment where every child will feel welcome and included.
“If any child wants to shout out, dance about or just take time out – it’s all fine with us. Our eagerly awaited show is one that is totally accessible.”
Earlier this year Circus Starr produced an app called ‘Show and Tell’ to help support children with autism in accessing live performance.
The circus is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that supports disabled underprivileged and vulnerable children across the UK.
Any local business wishing to buy a ticket to send a local child to enjoy circus magic should call the Circus Starr team on 01260 288690 (ticket prices start at £15).
