Impressionist Alistair McGowan has gone back to his stand–up roots and after appearances around the region he returns here on Monday when his Not Just a Pretty Voice tour comes to the Lowry in Salford.

McGowan is perhaps best known for his work across four series of BBC’s BAFTA award-winning The Big Impression, and for his more recent show, the ITV sports comedy series You Can Not Be Serious, but he has appeared on many other TV and radio shows.

The man of a thousand faces will ask the big questions like: would the world be a happier place if Ed Milliband was Prime Minister? What are we really thinking while watching Shakespeare? And is Hilary Devey Jessie J’s mum? You can also expect to hear from Andy Murray, Colin Murray, and riffs on topics from Jeff Stelling to bad spelling.
